Ashley has been a licensed psychotherapist and grief counselor for over 20 years. Her goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive and compassionate environment for healing. She helps her clients reduce their suffering and learn to live more fully in the present. Ashley believes that we grow through every experience in our lives and that each of us has access to a place of inner peace and wisdom. The book, Transcending Loss reflects her compassion, experience, knowledge and commitment to helping grievers cope with and grow from loss.

Ashley has also written Claim Your Inner Grown-up: 4 Essential Steps to Authentic Adulthood and Shortcuts to Inner Peace: 70 Simple Paths to Everyday Serenity. She publishes a monthly e-newsletter, "Still Waters: Tools and Resources for Living Deeply."

Ashley earned a graduate degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a certificate in Contemplative Studies through Smith College School for Social Work. She currently lives, works and writes in Epping, NH with her husband, Daniel, and their 5 children.
